The new table SM73 has a patented extension system which Skovby has used in several tables throughout the years. The goal in our product development was to combine this clever extension/expandable system with a contemporary design. The design is in a pure elliptical shape with a foot plate in brushed steel, which gives the table a simple and tight expression that never becomes unfashionable.

The synchronous pull-out system is extremely simple. Slightly pull one end of the table, and both halves of the table top slide away from each other simultaneously - and the hidden leaf appears. The extension leaf is stored in the base - and with a simple push the extension leaf will lift up to unfold.

The SM73 table can seat 6 people in its initial position - and with the extension leaf 4 extra.
